Cypripedium bardolphianum purple form x3

Bardophyllum has 2 forms. One is yellow flower, another is purple flower. Different situ location and altitude. This purple form is from highland and more cold hardy.

Lovely pygmy species, plant only 5-7cm in height. Easy to grow. need well drain compost.  never let it dry out.

It is the easiest growing of single leaf Cypripedium(or called 2-leaf species)

Cold hardy(-15C at least), in shade or half shade location.
